Gallery One Opening a Great Success!
With over 60 people in attendance, the Gallery One Reception kicked off on February 12th!
Students, faculty and staff squeezed in to see the beautiful art from 20 community members on the theme, “This Feels Like Home”.
The exhibit at Gallery One showcases a diverse range of artistic mediums, from traditional paintings and drawings to photography and poetry. Situated on the 15th floor, this unique space offers an inspiring and engaging atmosphere for students, faculty, and visitors alike.
- Words of welcome were given by Gallery One Team members, Takara Richard (D25) and Maya Abujamra (D27).
- Speeches reflecting on their art were given by Marianne Go (D25), Madison Wallace (D25), Ripple Garg (D26), Valentina Escobar (D28), Shiva Tabatabaei (D27) and Brianna Crockett, staff.
The gallery provides a space not only for students to share their creativity but also for the broader Tufts community to come together, appreciate art, and reflect on the intersections between their professional lives and artistic passions.
