SNDA National Night Out in Dorchester

On August 4, 2025, the Tufts Student National Dental Association (SNDA) and the Boston Police Department joined forces for an unforgettable SNDA National Night Out in Dorchester, MA. Six enthusiastic dental students from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM) lit up the evening with big smiles, laughter, and boundless energy. They handed out 100 toothbrushes, 100 tubes of toothpaste, and plenty of floss and the crowd couldn’t get enough! Colorful trivia games had everyone cheering, clapping, and learning about healthy habits in the most joyful way! Mayor Michelle Wu and the District Attorney even stopped by, adding a sparkle of excitement to the night! Families laughed as they learned new brushing and flossing techniques, often with playful demonstrations that got the kids giggling.

Many attendees shared that it was their very first time getting formal oral health tips and they were thrilled. The atmosphere buzzed with connection, community pride, and big, beaming grins. Volunteers left the event feeling inspired, recharged, and more committed than ever to spreading dental health joy! It was truly a night to remember full of learning, laughter, and love for the community!
