- The deadline to submit student organization budget proposals for funding from the Office of Student Affairs is one week before your scheduled budget & planning meeting. All student organization proposals should be 1-2 pages in length and include the following information:
- An overview of your organization’s mission, the number of student members, names of elected student leaders, and the name of your faculty advisor.
- A copy of your student group’s Excel spreadsheet with your expenditures and fundraisers for last year.

3. Time Sensitive: Update your Dental Central Student Org Page:
- Please review and update (or create) your student organization page with new leadership information, mission statement, new photos, and any other revisions by Friday, September 6th. Remember, this is how students, faculty, staff, and alumni can find your group and activities! Minimally, you must update your EBOARD/leadership with class years!
- Send updates to tuftsdc@gmail.com Subject line: (name of student group + Update Page)
- ***Please note that you must update your Dental Central page to participate in the Student Activities Fair (date for the fair: TBA).**
4. Budget & Planning Meeting:
- IN ADDITION, all student organizations must schedule a meeting as this is a requirement to receive a school budget and to be recognized as a student organization. The meeting will last half an hour and provide an opportunity for student groups to discuss their budget proposals in further detail and learn about the school resources available throughout the year. The organization’s president and treasurer are required to attend. I encourage faculty advisors and community service representatives to attend if possible. Please bring your community service rep if you intend to have a robust community service agenda.
