Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, D28s will be selling pink ribbon pins for $1 each to wear on October 3rd in support of those affected by breast cancer.

All money raised will go toward purchasing cozy socks, which we’ll donate as comfort items for people currently undergoing cancer treatment. For every ribbon sold, two pairs of socks will be donated.

The socks will be delivered to the American Cancer Society – Hope Lodge in Boston, where they’ll be distributed to cancer patients in the community.

You can pick up your pin on October 3rd on the 8th floor Preclinic room during either of these times:

• 8:20–8:50 AM

• 12:10–12:30 PM

We encourage everyone to wear their ribbon that day so we can show our support together!
