Funding for Community Service Activities: Apply to the Tisch Fund

The Tisch Fund for Civic Engagement aims to fund innovative initiatives and events that have a clear connection to civic life. We especially seek proposals that: 

• Demonstrate creativity in addressing issues affecting civic life.
• Include adequate training and/or preparation for stakeholders (including Tufts students) involved.
• Seek to bring theory to practice by applying academic course in the creation, implementation, and execution of the project.
• Build connections across disciplines and fields.

Priority will be given to projects that also engage communities beyond the Tufts campus in a meaningful and ethical way. 

Apply to the Tisch Fund! Funding of up to $1,000 is available per project. The Tisch Fund Committee reserves the right to partially fund projects. Your application must include a detailed budget, specifying exactly how you plan to use the funding requested.  Please share your application with Nancy Marks at Nancy.marks@tufts.edu

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Tufts University school/professional program. For cross-school initiatives, all parties must be stakeholders involved in the planning and execution of the project.  

Only applications submitted at least four weeks in advance of the project or event will be considered for funding. If the project meets selection criteria, the applicants will be invited to interview. Funding decisions will be released within a week of interviewing.
