QDC/ CARE Collaborative Event

The Queer Dental Collective (QDC), in collaboration with CARE, recently hosted an impactful event led by the fantastic Eliz, focused on learning how to become more compassionate and trauma-informed dental care providers. Attendees discussed how to identify signs of abuse, navigate sensitive conversations, and adapt care to better support patients who have experienced intimate partner violence. The session also highlighted valuable resources and practical strategies that students can carry into their future clinical practice beyond TUSDM.
