Greeting Cards for LBFE

Shivani Merchia and Mariah King organized an event for the D29 class to create Valentine’s Day cards for older adults and spread holiday cheer. The event was held in partnership with Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly (LBFE), an organization that connects local youth with older adults who would appreciate companionship. LBFE was thrilled with the holiday cards the D29 class had made for them last semester and was excited to receive Valentine’s Day cards this year. Students enthusiastically embraced the project, even coming up with creative, tooth-themed puns for the cards. This collaboration is expected to continue, providing D29 students with an opportunity to channel their creativity into a meaningful experience for those who may benefit from it.
