Event Spotlight: D17s at the Special Olympics

Last week the D17 class volunteered at the Special Olympics Soccer tournament at The Governor's Academy in Byfield, MA which had over 800 particpants. They set up an oral health promotion table, where they passed out toothbrushes and provided general oral hygiene instructions to around 200 people.

D17 Community Service Chair Mike Arrigo was joined by fellow D17s Steven Wang, Tommy Bond, Eric Ricci, Lauren Vargas, Shreshtha Ramanial, Houda Hamze, and Ireen Halkias. The group also made signs and games with the help of Shivani Patel.
