Welcome to the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine Class of 2024’s Dental Central Page. Despite starting our dental journeys in a virtual learning environment, we are elated to begin our dental careers and eager to learn. Our class comes from so many different backgrounds spanning all over the world, making us so proud to call our class one of the most diverse in the nation. Zana Hunt
Class President
Zana Hunt hails from the sunny city of Fort Lauderdale, Florida by way of Jamaica. She attended the Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University in Tallahassee, Florida, where she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2019. Zana has been singing since she was 3 years old and enjoys music, painting, and giving back to her community. She hopes to be a great asset to the field of dental medicine one day.
Brianna Sammon
Class Vice President
My name is Brianna Sammon and I have the honor of being the D’24 Class Vice President. I grew up in Syracuse, New York. I received my bachelors in 2019 from St. John Fisher College where I majored in Biology. I then completed a Masters in Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University School of Medicine. When not in school I love to play/watch sports, bake, or explore the city of Boston. My priority is to be there for my classmates as a friend, resource, and advocate. I feel beyond fortunate to be a part of such an incredible, talented and strong class; who has persisted through so much change.
Vidhi Desai
Class Secretary
Hi everyone, my name is Vidhi Desai and I’m the D24 Class Secretary. I’m from Louisiana, but I was born in India. I did my undergraduate degree in Biology, with a concentration in Marine Biology at Louisiana State University, and my Master’s in Medical Sciences at Mississippi College. I enjoy relaxing and spending time with the people I love the most. I also enjoy being active and exploring around me. I’m honored to represent our amazing D24 Class as its Secretary. I am passionate to serve and help our class to my fullest capabilities.
Debora Yoon
Class Treasurer
My name is Debora Yoon and I am the D24 Class Treasurer. I was born and raised in Alaska and received my bachelors degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Alaska Anchorage. I then received my Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Tulane University in New Orleans. I am so excited to serve as class treasurer and I look forward to meeting everyone soon. Outside of class, I absolutely love spending time outdoors biking, hiking, and especially snowboarding! ”
