CADA Cultural Workshop: Interacting with Chinese Patients

The Chinese American Dental Association is hosting a cultural workshop titled “Interacting with Chinese Patients” on November 14th from 12-1 pm in Room 773. This session aims to enhance communication and understanding between dental professionals and their Chinese patients. Attendees will be provided with a bilingual cheat sheet that lists common dental terminologies, insights into patient demographics, distinctions between Cantonese and Mandarin, valuable tools for patient communication, and insights into non-verbal interactions. Additionally, the workshop will shed light on the Chinese perspective on diet, money, and dental care. As a special incentive, the first 30 registrants will be treated to boba from Tiger Sugar.
