MLK Student Voices Award Submissions Deadline

As part of the 2024 Tufts MLK Jr. Celebration, student voices are invited – through essays, poems, spoken word, songs, art, or performances – to be a part of the community celebration! Interested students should submit entries for the 2024 Student Voices Award by Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Individual and group submissions from all Tufts schools are welcome, and winners will receive a cash prize and the chance to present their work at the MLK Celebration on January 31. Submitters’ entries should connect to a specific quote from Dr. King’s 1963 “Letter from Birmingham Jail.” Find more about the award, the theme, and how to submit your work on the University Chaplaincy website.
