About

The mission of the Women in Orthodontics club at TUSDM is to create a supportive and empowering community for dental students with a keen interest in orthodontics. Our primary objective is to provide a platform where students can connect and engage with accomplished female orthodontists. We aim to facilitate valuable interactions with outside speakers, esteemed faculty members, and residents who generously share their experiences and insights within the orthodontic field. We understand the importance of role models and mentors in one’s career journey. By engaging in discussions and networking, you can gain valuable insights and advice as you embark on your own orthodontic path. This exposure to diverse perspectives will enhance your understanding of the field and inspire your growth as an orthodontic practitioner. We believe in the strength of community and camaraderie. The Women in Orthodontics club fosters a supportive environment where students can openly discuss their aspirations, challenges, and achievements. This community will serve as a source of encouragement and empowerment throughout your dental school journey. By joining our club, you’re not just gaining access to a network of established professionals and an abundance of knowledge, but you’re also becoming a part of a movement that champions gender diversity and inclusivity within the orthodontics profession.
