Leading to Success Dinner Workshop: A great success!
Hosted and organized by Nancy Marks and Dainya Hannon, TUSDM’s 2025 Leadership Dinner Workshop brought over 80 Leaders together for learning, sharing and friendship.
The event started out with everyone taking a quick diagnostic quiz on leadership traits and then eight intrepid leaders— Aleksja Hoxha, Natalie Ingram, Beshoy Lawindy, Robin Lee, Samar Mohamed, Emerly Vidal, Chloe Ways and Jessyca Wofford led small group discussions about what leadership means and how each student can use their unique traits in service of being a strong leader at TUSDM and beyond.
After a yummy dinner, the event highlighted a panel of amazing student leaders here at TUSDM. The panel consisted of:

- Chioma Anokwute, D25: Finding the right organization to Lead: DSD
- Erika Magana, D25: How to create bridges with our community and establish lasting relationships: HSDA
- Scott Huang, D26: Using Passion as your Drive: Creating a program to educate TUSDM about the Chinese patient: CADA
- Alexis Vivien, D25: Growing into Leadership: SNDA
- Marilena Currey, D26: Student advocacy in the clinic and the streets
