Dr. Herman Speaks at Tufts Students HDA

On April 4 /2025 Dr. Aidee Nieto-Herman, Associate Clinical Professor of the Department of Periodontology and HIM Founder/ President/CEO, was invited as speaker of the Tufts student HDA chapter at the lunch and learn series on “Celebrating Hispanic Excellent in Dentistry”. Dr. Herman is the Founder of the Tufts HDA Student Association. She founded the chapter in 1994 (31 years ago) and she was the first Faculty Advisor for Twenty years. She is so happy for the invitation and thrilled to see the chapter TSHDA as one of the oldest, strongest and more active chapters in the U.S. Her presentation was her research topic: “Understanding Periodontal Disease in Women and the Impact of Stress in their lives”
