Volunteer Opportunity – Film Festival
ACDC’s Youth Programs Manager Emma Ishida is seeking volunteers for the upcoming 3-day youth-led film festival, Films at the Gate, Aug 22-24.
This volunteer opportunity is for one of our annual events, Films at the Gate (FATG). It is our three-day, youth-led film festival that will be taking place from Friday, August 22nd to Sunday, August 24th from 5:30-9:30pm every evening.
It is our largest public facing event, and one of our most longstanding and iconic events at ACDC! We are reaching out to you because of your interest and involvement in Summer Picnic, in July. The youth have been spending all summer planning this event! So they will be taking the lead on these tasks, but we need adult supervision and support. We are looking for people who can “usher” people into the event, and support the youth with the following: setting up/breaking down, tabling for fundraising and concessions, running the activities tables, and monitoring the A/V tech throughout all three days of the festival.
