Advanced Education in General Dentistry/General Practice Residency

The AEGD/GPR Club at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine is dedicated to helping students learn about and prepare for postdoctoral training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) and General Practice Residency (GPR) programs. These residencies offer valuable opportunities to enhance clinical skills, gain experience managing medically complex patients, and work in hospital or community-based settings.
The club plans on hosting a variety of events throughout the year, including informational sessions with program directors, alumni panels, personal statement and CV workshops, and mock interviews. Members receive guidance on the application process, program selection, and how to build a competitive residency profile. Whether you’re just starting to explore your options or actively preparing to apply, the AEGD/GPR Club provides the support, resources, and mentorship needed to make informed decisions about your post-graduate training.
