The Christian Medical and Dental Associations at Tufts is a local chapter of the National affiliate by the same name. More about the National organization can be found at www.cmda.org This organization is not only a student organization, but also for professionals, including some of our own professors at Tufts. Locally, our CMDA along with chapters from Harvard and Boston University, among others, is also part of the network included in the Boston Healthcare Fellowship. More about this fellowship can be found at http://www.healthcarefellowship.org/. CMDA at Tufts incorporates students from all of the various schools at the Boston campus, including the School of Dental Medicine, School of Medicine, School of Nutrition, Physician’s Assistant program, PHPD, and PhD program. Students, faculty, residents, fellows, and professionals are all welcome to participate. A frequent topic of discussion is searching for culturally relevant ways to live out the Christian faith in our healthcare professions.
