Medical Emergencies Club Meeting

May 7 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Are you ready to save a life?

Practice makes perfect, and the Medical Emergencies Club (MEC) is here to help you feel confident when the worst happens in front of you.

Mark your calendars for our next event on Wednesday, 5/7 at 4:30pm in Room 1415 (CE Classroom). We have organized a hands-on session exploring some of the most common medical emergencies we expect to encounter in the dental setting. Come join us for role-playing and discussion with Dr. Stephens, oral and maxillofacial surgeon and Chief Medical Officer of TUSDM. We will practice how to assess and manage emergencies not if, but when they happen.

There will be food, free keychain CPR face barriers, and lifesaver candies!

Whether you’re a D4 getting ready to practice in the real world, a D3 wishing to hone their response skills or brushing up on knowledge for the INBDE, a D2 preparing to enter clinic, or a D1 looking to put some didactic knowledge into practice… this event is something everyone can benefit from! In addition, we have linked slides from Dr. Stephens’ discussions in year’s past for those who would like to familiarize themselves with some of the topics in advance.

We look forward to seeing all of you there!
