Volunteer Opp: Cherish Chinatown Restaurant Challenge

Volunteer Opp: Seeking representatives from across the health sciences to help get the word out about the Cherish Chinatown Restaurant Challenge which will be from November 15th-December 15th 2023.   The goal of the CC Restaurant Challenge is to encourage Tufts students, faculty, and staff to dine in or order takeout or delivery from locally owned restaurants and bakeries and to patronize stores in Chinatown.  In exchange, participants earn chances to win gift cards to local restaurants either for themselves or their department/student club.

Student reps are needed to assist us with the following:

• Sending weekly reminders to classmates via GroupMe or other communication channels (student council elists).  We will supply templates!)
• Speaking to/emailing their faculty and staff to encourage them to participate
• Hanging posters we will supply in your school/program’s buildings
• Optional: Taking photos we can use to promote the challenge on Tufts health science social media channels

Expected time commitment: <1 hour/week during the month of the challenge (may be less some weeks, and a bit more the week we kick it off).
