Parent-Student Organization
About
The purpose of this organization is to create a platform of support and resources for students who need more guidance with managing dental school and parenthood.
Events
- Community lunch: Lunch bringing together student parents to build community and support. This will allow for parents to have questions answered and get life advice from other parents.
- Lunch interview with student parents: Lunch answering common questions on how student parents manage parenthood while in dental school.
- Lunch interview with dental professionals: Lunch with dental professionals who were parents during dental school to receive inspiration and advice
- Diaper drive for expecting parents: Support expecting parents with the cost of diapers and wipes by collecting from students
- Orchard Family Outing (may need transportation): Create a friendly and supportive environment for families to go to the orchard during the fall
- Franklin Park Zoo Family Outing: Create an environment for families to support one another and network with others.
- Science Museum Family Outing: Create a fun learning environment for the families to help network and support one another.
