Society of American Indian Dental Students (SAIDS)

About

The Society of American Indian Dental Students (SAIDS) has a mission of promoting dental health in American Indian communities, encouraging AI/AN youth to pursue careers in the profession of dentistry, and providing a community for our AI/AN students to form meaningful relationships with one another to aid in successful completion of dental school. SAIDS works to advance the mission of Society of American Indian Dentists (SAID), but it is not a student charter. The Society of American Indian Dental Students (SAIDS) goal is to offer space where AI/AN dental students can form a community to share the experience of dental school, expand education of AI/AN oral health disparities and how to treat the patients, and connect with local tribes in the Boston area to form a relationship for outreach and dental health education.

Events

SAIDS is a new organization, and students can expect to be immersed in the AI/AN culture through our planned events and lunch and learns. Join SAIDS for future events so that we can continue to grow and educate everyone about Indian Country.
