CGIA 2025: Mission Statement
Confronting the global trend of rising authoritarianism, CGIA 2025 intends to create a collective learning experience that challenges the superfluousness projected onto “gender issues,” demonstrating the power of a gender/intersectional lens for analysis, and asserting it as a foundational necessity in global affairs. CGIA, in its 11th year, continues to recognize that intersectional solutions, which consider a diverse range of voices, are critical in effectively addressing global challenges.
