Closing the Digital Divide in India
Muralidhar Selvamani ( MALD ’17) came to Fletcher to leverage his background in technology and consulting to work on ideas that deliver social impact. Supported by the Hitachi Center, he conducted field work in India to assess the impact of digital technologies in disaster response. He turned that work into a capstone project that applied the principles of design thinking to recommend disaster response features that Twitter can build to serve communities impacted by disasters.In addition to the MALD, Murali holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Management. He currently works as a Senior Product Manager at PayPal in India.
