Covid-19 vaccination guidelines for University faculty and staff
Tufts University leadership recently approved a policy requiring that faculty and staff provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, request a medical or religious accommodation, or formally decline vaccination after speaking with the Office of the Infection Control Health Director. Employees who do not provide a record of vaccination, receive a medical or religious accommodation, or complete a formal declination with the Office of the Infection Control Health Director will not be allowed to work in-person on campus. If you have questions about the vaccine or need accommodation or a formal declination, please email Occupational Health.
If you have been vaccinated outside of Tufts, we ask that you upload documentation of your COVID-19 vaccination into Tufts’ HIPAA-compliant Qualtrics application, which you can access from this webpage. Uploaded COVID-19 vaccine documentation will be verified by the Office of the Infection Control Health Director. All information will be kept confidential.
Sharing that you have been vaccinated will also help us understand the level of protection in our community, so we can make decisions about future policies and protocols.
Even if you are fully vaccinated, please continue to follow the university’s health safety protocols, including wearing a mask, socially distancing, and sanitizing/washing your hands.
