Captain Hannah L. Bealon
CAPT Bealon is a native of Holyoke, Massachusetts. She received her commission from United States Coast Guard and joined the United States Navy in 2010 as an Information Professional officer. She holds various advanced degrees and certificates from Army Command and General Staff College, National Defense University, Joint Forces Staff College, University of Massachusetts, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), United States Coast Guard Academy, and National Graduate School.
At sea and operational, her assignments include a deployment in Afghanistan as Officer In Charge (OIC) in support of Deputy Chief of Staff Intelligence (CJ26) at ISAF Headquarters-Afghanistan-NATO; Assistant C5I Officer and Information Assurance Manager aboard USS BATAAN (LHD 5); Combat Systems Information Officer (CSIO) aboard USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN 71); Assistant Chief of Staff for C5I and Deputy Information Warfare Commander (IWC) in support of Commander, Carrier Strike Group ELEVEN aboard USS NIMITZ (CVN 68).
At shore and command, her assignments include Information Systems Officer at Global Network Operations for Naval Network Warfare Command; Space Operations Mission Commander for Joint Space Operations Command (JSpOC) at Joint Functional Component Command for Space (JFCC SPACE); OIC for Space Operations Detachment at MIT Lincoln Labs; OIC of Navy Blue Team San Diego (CTU 1010.1.3); Requirements Officer and Project Overmatch Coalition Head at the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations Digital Warfare (OPNAV N9DW), and Military Deputy at the Office of Chief of Naval Operations Enterprise Services (OPNAV N2N6D2). She was the Commanding Officer of Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station in San Diego, CA.
CAPT Bealon’s personal awards include Defense Meritorious Service Medal (2), Navy Meritorious Service Medal (3), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Service Medal, 2020 AFCEA Copernicus Award, 2015 Navy Vice Admiral (VADM) Mayo Award, and the 2011 DOD Chief Information Officer Award (1st Place).
