Student presenters wanted for Droplets: Short Talks and Performances about Water, an event sponsored by the Tufts University Art Gallery and the Tufts Institute of the Environment in conjunction with the FoodWaterLife/Lucy+JorgeOrta exhibition at the gallery. The event takes place on Thursday, November 8th, 2012, 7 to 9pm. Any Tufts student, undergraduate or graduate, is encouraged to apply.

Aug 17: Early Registration closes for Second Nature’s New England Campus Sustainability Forum

Second Nature invites you to attend the New England Campus Sustainability Forum, organized by the New England Board of Higher Education, Clean Air/Cool Planet, Second Nature, Greener U, Colleges of the Fenway and the Northeast Campus Sustainability Consortium.  The Forum will explore Organization and Coalition Building, Financial Strategies and the Campus as a Living Laboratory.  This event is designed to foster conversation and linkages between all stakeholders: administrators, staff, faculty and students in order to provide new insights on ways to think about and initiate campus sustainability programs.

Aug 08: Cambridge Launches their newest Hubway Station

Hubway, the regional bike share system, has just started to open stations in Cambridge! The system is fully integrated amongst the participating municipalities of Cambridge, Boston, Brookline, and Somerville.

Hubway Cambridge Launch Event

On Wednesday, August 8 the City will officially celebrate the opening of Hubway in Cambridge. Join us!

The event will begin on August 8th at 11:00 in front of the City Hall/Central Square Post Office Hubway Station.  This event will include official remarks and the unveiling of the Commemoratory Bicycle Stamps, with a ride and celebration in Harvard Square to follow.
