Public Lands Transportation Scholars, Federal Lands Transportation Institute (Pennsylvania and Hawaii)

The Public Lands Transportation Scholar program provides fellowships to outstanding graduates in a transportation-related field to spend ten months working directly with staff of Federal Land Management Agencies on key visitor transportation issues.

We are currently seeking applications for scholars at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge in Pennsylvania and Kauai National Wildlife Refuge in Hawaii.

The scholar position spans from February 1 to November 30, 2016 on site and the month of December 2016 at your home completing your final report. A mandatory orientation is tentatively scheduled for Feb. 2-4, 2016 in the Washington D.C. area.

Sustainable Technology Coordinator, Oberlin College (Ohio)

The Office of Environmental Sustainability and the Environmental Studies Program at Oberlin College invite applications for the position of Sustainable Technology Coordinator. Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Educational Sustainability, University of Wisconsin (Stevens Point, WI)

The successful applicant for this position will assist the School of Education in implementing a planned Ed.D. degree in Educational Sustainability. Candidates will also be expected to teach graduate courses in Educational Sustainability, co-lead the development of coursework for the doctoral degree in Educational Sustainability, and teach undergraduate courses as needed. Candidates will also support all aspects of the Ed.D. including recruitment, student support, advising and mentoring, and service on dissertation committees; and provide leadership in the area of sustainability.
