Senior Sustainability Data Analyst, MIT (Cambridge, MA)

Provide analytical and tactical support for all sustainability projects with data-related needs and to set an overall strategy for the collection, analysis, management, and communication of data and metrics.  Will collect, manage, and ensure the quality and integrity of data from multiple sources throughout campus; oversee MIT’s greenhouse gas inventory update and expansion process; perform cost analysis; assist with the development of relational and dimensional models and reports; write an annual metrics performance report that includes infographics and graphs; manage the development of an overall sustainability analytics database for campus; develop well-defined sustainability financial reporting templates; support living lab projects related to campus systems (storm water, mobility, etc.); and collaborate with MIT’s Data Science team and other partners to develop reporting and analytics.

World PEAS Food Hub Manager, New Entry Farming Project (Lowell, MA)

The World PEAS Food Hub Manager will manage all activities associated with a $300,000/yr multi-farmer World PEAS Food Hub, including leading the Food Hub team in maintaining a high level of reputation for World PEAS products. World PEAS distributes fresh, locally-grown produce to over 30 distribution points around the Boston area. The Food Hub includes an expanding low-income food access component, consisting of multiple community partnerships. The Food Hub also provides market training and technical assistance to new and beginning farmers who are the main suppliers of the Food Hub.

Summer Conference Coordinator, Northeast Organic Farming Association (Barre, MA)

The Summer Conference represents the mission of the NOFA Interstate Council, which is to advocate for and educate on organic agriculture, small-scale farming and homesteading in rural, suburban and urban areas, agricultural justice and other related policy issues.  The NOFA Summer Conference Coordinator oversees all aspects of the conference, acting as the supervisor of the ten person Summer Conference Committee.

Senior Fellow & Director, Energy Security & Climate Initiative (ESCI), The Brookings Institute (various locations)

The Foreign Policy Program at The Brookings Institution is accepting applications for the Director of the Energy Security and Climate Initiative. The Director will be a Senior Fellow in the Foreign Policy Program. The candidate should have expertise in energy security, energy economics and climate policy, as well as a detailed knowledge of U.S. and international energy markets, and expertise in the geopolitics of energy, energy sustainability and/or climate change. Regional expertise in Asia or the Middle East is preferred.

The successful candidate will direct the Foreign Policy Program’s Energy Security and Climate Initiative (ESCI). In addition to developing overall strategy and vision for the Initiative and overseeing all research and publications, the incoming Senior Fellow will work with the Vice President and Director of Foreign Policy to deepen ESCI’s work on energy issues and broaden its work to encompass critical topics like sustainable energy access, and international energy and climate governance. The Senior Fellow will also work to establish research links to other disciplines within Brookings, including the fields of economic studies, urban studies, and international development. Additionally, the Director will coordinate and cooperate closely with other scholars in the Foreign Policy Program, especially in the Brookings Centers in Beijing, Delhi, and Doha, and with scholars in other research programs across the Institution who work on the geopolitical dimensions of international energy.
