MENTOR A TUFTS STUDENT

Tufts partners with Partakers College Behind Bars mentoring program to bridge the divide between people inside and outside of prison. Mentors provide support and encouragement that are critical to success in college. They also model positive relationships that extend beyond the classroom. Mentors team (four mentors per students) visit monthly and lend subject area expertise to a student, but they are not tutors and there are no academic prerequisites. The time commitment is very flexible. To learn more about becoming a mentor, fill out the interest form.
