This 5-day intensive course provides professional training and accreditation in organic land care. Covers all aspects of designing and maintaining naturally- beautiful landscapes that protect the health of people, pets, and local ecosystems. Thirty hours of instruction include site analysis and design, organic turf, soil fertility, rain gardens, and the control of pests, diseases and invasive species. The curriculum is based on NOFA’s internationally-recognized Standards for Organic Land Care. Recommended for landscapers, designers, municipal and parks employees, horticulturists, campus grounds staff, garden center employees, master gardeners and entrepreneurs.
