Culture and Health Fair in celebration of Public Health Week!
Join the Graduate Degree Programs Student Senate at the Culture and Health Fair in celebration of Public Health Week! This is an opportunity to learn more about the cultures of your peers and how those cultures go about maintaining a healthy lifestyle/community. Snacks provided!
The theme is Embodiment, or how culture embodies/influences the health of its people. Students who want to participate as presenters will need to make a small poster/sign about their culture that embodies health. Examples include: What health means to your culture, what is unique about your culture’s approach to health, or how your culture stays healthy, both individually and as a community. Please feel free to bring little trinkets to give away, like pins or snacks!
Culture is an all-inclusive term, and we would love to see students representing their own, whether that be ability status, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or nationality.
