SNDA Members joined in on the Walk for Sickle Cell

Tufts SNDA members joined in on the Walk for Sickle Cell on October 8th, 2023. Members were able to reach out to the community of Sickle Cell warriors and volunteers teaching them about proper oral health and hygiene. Through SNDA members volunteering, we were able to recruit community members who lacked a dental provider, to come and check out Tufts Dental. This event allowed members of the community access to new dental hygiene supplies while gaining education and access to how to best take care of their teeth!
