Volunteer Opportunity with PYD

The D26 Community Service Committee is organizing a volunteer session with Partners for Youth with Disabilities (PYD), where we will present about dentistry as a career to students at Madison Park High School! PYD is a mentoring program for youth with disabilities that aims to provide development opportunities that allow them to lead self-determined lives filled with purpose. Our goal for this event is to contribute to PYD’s mission to motivate youth to reach their personal, educational, and career goals in the workplace and their communities.

We will give a presentation and live demonstration of good oral hygiene techniques using some of our instruments and models to the students. We will also host a Q&A for the students, and we’d love for you to join us! For more information about the event, demonstration portion, and to sign-up, please see this link: PYD Sign-Up (Also listed below for your convenience).

Also, if you have any questions, please feel free to email Rana Sultan or Jamyla Palomar.

Thank you!
