Meet Tamara Biary, D23: Dean’s Research Scholar!
PI: Dr. Nadine Tassabehji, PhD
I am working with Dr. Tassabehji to evaluate the effects and implications of bariatric surgery (such as Roux-en-Y gastric bypass) on oral health. I am interested in learning more about how these surgeries influence salivary flow rate, periodontal health, and caries risk.
