Tufts Dental is partnering with Tufts Med and a few master’s programs for the Boston Winter Walk 2024! The Winter Walk believes ending homelessness is within our reach. Their mission is to raise awareness for that goal through education and storytelling by lifting the voices of those who have experienced homelessness and breaking down the negative stigmas that surround the issue. It is a great opportunity to walk together as a community- both the housed and unhoused!

Check out the author of the book Rough Sleepers, Tracy Kidder Pulitzer winner. He mentions Dr. O’Connell who is the President of the Boston Healthcare for the Homeless program and recalls his memories of the Winter Walk.

When is it? February 11, 2024 (Sunday) at 9am-11am

How long is the walk? 2 miles

Where is it located? Begins and ends at the Boston Commons

Who are we fundraising for? St. Francis Homeless Shelter

Will there be food served at the end of the walk? Heck yea!
