HSDA: Spring Updates

Spring is here, and before the long weekend, HDA has a lot to share with you all!

• April 16th: Latinx Faculty Lunch & Learn – Dr. Patricia Guerrero “Overview of Common Temporomandibular Disorders & Management” 
  • Where: Rachel’s, 14^th floor When: 12:00-12:45 
  • HDA is so excited to open the Latinx Faculty Lunch and Learn Series with Dr. Patricia Guerrero. Please RSVP on the google form. Food will be provided, due paying members will be given priority.

• April 23rd: General Body Meeting: “Dental Loteria” Where: Rachel’s, 14^th floor When: 7:15-8:15 pm 
  • Come unwind and play Dental Loteria to win some great prizes! We will also be discussing Student Regional, National opportunities coming up, as well as elections for the 2024 e-board!
     
•  April 24rd: Final Patagonia Distribution Where: 15^th floor, in front of alumni lounge When: 12:15-1 pm 
  • Thank you so much to everyone for the support in our Annual Fundraiser for the HSDA Dominican Republic Global Service-learning trip! We only have a few jackets left to be picked up, this will be the last and final distribution date.

• May 2nd: Beyond Tufts: Residency PanelWhere: Room to be announced
  • When: 7:15-8:15 pm 

• May 3rd: General Elections 
  • Where: Zoom
  • When: 7:30-8:30

• May 7th: Save the Date! HSDA Senior Dinner Save the date as we celebrate our D24’s before graduation! Keep an eye out for a formal invitation from Student Affairs in the coming days! ​​ 
  
• EPIC SOCIAL MEDIA CHALLENGE – HDA’s EPIC Challenge Committee has been participating in the HDA National EPIC Challenge for the past 5 months! Part of that challenge involves three monthly dental Instagram posts that will be judged on creativity, topics, and interaction.
  Please support them by following us on IG and liking and commenting on the contest posts!

I. CHELSEA SCHOOL OHI PRESENTATION – 
We will be continuing our visits to the Chelsea School System to provide first and second graders with a fun morning of oral health education and games! Thank you to all our past volunteers who have made our visits a great success!
