A Special Lunch & Learn with Autism Smiles!
On April 22, Autism Smiles featured Dr. Von Hahn, an MC Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician and Associate Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine, for an amazing lunch and learn! 🌟
Dr. Von Hahn kicked off the event with a thoughtful definition of autism and walked us through real-world examples, plus other highlighting:
✨ Social and joint attention
✨ Sensory sensitivities and regulation
✨ Restricted interests and cognitive flexibility challenges
This was an incredible opportunity to learn, reflect, and strengthen our commitment to
team-based care for children with developmental differences. 💙
A huge THANK YOU to Dr. Von Hahn for sharing his expertise — and to everyone who joined us for this meaningful conversation! 🙌
