About
The Digital Dentistry Study Club aims to provide members with exposure and engagement in the field of digital dentistry. In taking advantage of accessible resources, members will expand their knowledge on the innovations and applications of digital dentistry among various specialties. Faculty, guest speakers, and postgrad students will provide insight regarding the field, cases treated at Tufts, and digital dentistry technology.
Another objective of the Digital Dentistry Study Club is to create a space for members to network with experts in different specialties and collaborate with peers. Through numerous interactions, members will acquire resources and further introspect to help navigate future endeavors. The DD Study Club embodies all fields of dentistry and therefore welcomes any member regardless of their post-graduate plans. We aspire to develop a setting of mentorship with dentists and students to achieve excellence in dentistry.
Our monthly meetings will offer valuable discussions on different topics. Meetings may involve reviewing articles, learning about digital workflows, and exploring technologies and innovations. Workshops will be arranged on TUSDM campus to provide members the opportunity to navigate and familiarize themselves with different technology. Members will learn about various technology to allow consideration of which hardware and software is necessary in office for the best applications of digital dentistry. In providing learning opportunities, we aim to prepare members for their dental careers.
