About
Our mission is to engage our TUSDM community with entrepreneurs in the dental industry. We plan to do this mainly by inviting speakers to come and present to us their projects and ideas. By doing so we aim inspire our fellow dental colleagues to incorporate entrepreneurship into their professional career.
Events
– Past events include a talk by Bobby Johnson from Duo, a company started by a TUSDM graduate which has brought to market a consumer toothpaste product that combines traditional toothpaste with a daily vitamin that is absorbed through the oral mucosa. We plan to invite other Tufts entrepreneurs in the dental space including the runner ups of the Tufts 100K competition, Snaps.
– Talks from entrepreneurs in the aesthetics space. We will have speakers on multiple topics in this space including facial aesthetics like botox as well as boutique dentistry practices and how to successfully open these types of practices. In addition to that we plan to have entrepreneurs in the material science/equipment/manufacturing space to learn more about how we can turn an idea into a product and company.
