  1. review syllabus and come up with potential plans (consider power outages)
  2. determine communication method (such as posting announcements and web conferencing invites on Canvas)
  3. determine tools to use
  4. obtain any necessary training
  5. familiarize yourself with technology resources
  6. practice alone with new technology 
  7. discuss instructional continuity with your students to communicate expectations and your preferred communication method
  8. share helpful links with your students
  9. hold a fake snow day to practice new technology with the class (either announced or surprise)
  10. adjust plan accordingly with lessons learned from fake snow day
  11. take steps to stay connected
  12. check Tufts Office of Emergency Management
