Below is a list of links to resources freely available to you as a Fletcher student regarding current financial markets and business news. These Tufts subscriptions are freely available to you and there are no extra charges for you to access these sources. Please note that some may only be valid while you are a current student. This site provides links to direct publisher access.

The New York Times

Sign up for your own personal account through the above link. Earlier issues can be found through the Library Catalog.

Financial Times

Sign up for a personalized account using the above link. On the right side of the page, there is a helpful PDF outlining a guide to FT.com

Wall Street Journal

Launch the link above for detailed instructions. When you have read them, navigate to http://WSJ.com/tufts. Select “Student” as account type and provide your graduation date. Create your profile and then select “Explore WSJ” to get started. Once activated, you will have access to the Wall Street Journal from any location.

The Economist

Click on the option that says “Direct Publisher Access.” Please note that if while reading various articles, you are prompted to pay, just log out and log-in again. There is no extra charge to you for the Economist.

Harvard Business Review

Click on the option that says “Direct Publisher Access.” Click on the blue button stating “Tufts username and password.” Use your username and password to log-in. Use the username and password provided on the next page to log into http://www.hbr.org/magazine. Please note that if while reading various articles, you are prompted to pay, please just log out and log-in again. There is no extra charge to you to access HBR.

Bloomberg Online

Fletcher has access to a number of online resources for financial and market data. View the PDFs on the Ginn Library website Bloomberg page for getting started. Contact Ann Cullen (Ann.Cullen@tufts.edu) or use the Ask a Librarian online form to ask questions about the data available in Bloomberg or set up a time to access Bloomberg Online for your research. Only two users can access Bloomberg Online at the same time so scheduling access is required.
