Visit from Ambassador Francisco Mora

The Diplomacy Study Group at the Edward R. Murrow Center for Global Diplomacy hosted the United States Ambassador to the Organization of American States (OAS), Francisco Mora, on November 9, 2o23. The visit was convened by Carlos Alvarado Quesada, Professor of Practice at the Fletcher School and former President of Costa Rica.

 

The session, moderated by Professor Rockford Weitz, focused on U.S. foreign policy towards the OAS, security and development concerns in the OAS countries, and multilateral diplomacy. 

Himani Bhatt and Kate Hibbert, Fletcher students and Murrow Center Research Assistants, aided in the organization of the event.
