Admissions Assistant [Discovery Museums, Acton, MA]
Description:
We are looking for a friendly individual to greet visitors with enthusiasm, efficiently facilitate transactions, answer phones/general inquiries. A strong candidate must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a pleasant personality, strong reliability, the ability to work well under pressure when the museums become a quick paced environment. In addition to admission and museum store sales, position will include clerical tasks to assist the Director of Visitor Experiences.

Qualifications:
Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel. Cash handling experience is an advantage. Weekend required (hours of operation, Tues-Saturday) in addition to occasional evenings. High school diploma, Bachelors degree preferred.
