The PALADIN Consortium aims to transform the pace of medicines development by optimizing Patient Advocacy Group (PAG)-Industry collaborations to be more effective and achieve high impact shared goals.
We do this by establishing partnerships that are reflective of aligned priorities, clearly established expectations, best practices incorporation, and mechanisms for feedback and refinement.
We commit to establishing respect and accessibility, holding regard for perspectives, rights and traditions to ensure everyone involved is included without discrimination or omission.
The Best Practices Guide aims to gain efficiency and provide guidance on starting collaborations by equipping the workforce with the required skills and the understanding of how to form a successful collaboration and effectively engage. While these best practices are best practices for all organizations regardless of experience level, the intent is that these documents would be an effective starting point for PAGs and Industry who are new to collaboration
We envision this document as a starting point, with some key ideas to consider as PAGs and Industry prepare for their first interaction to explore collaboration with a patient advocacy group. This document will point PAGs and Industry to other useful resources on the PALADIN website.
