The Spring Garden Programming Intern will focus on supporting and further developing the Master Urban Gardener program (MUG). After MUG concludes in mid-March, this intern will support the promotion and administration of the Seed, Sow, & Grow (SSG) workshop series.

MUG is an intensive, skill-building training program for both novice and experienced gardeners. The 2016 MUG classroom sessions will take place on seven Saturdays this winter starting January 30 and running through March 12. Each Saturday will feature topical lectures as well as participatory activities covering everything an urban gardener needs to know to create a thriving community garden, from vegetable gardening and composting to community organizing. Seed, Sow & Grow brings people together for skill-building workshops and events at City Natives in Mattapan and throughout Boston.
