This is a great opportunity for history, education and museum studies students to get professional growth experience at a living history museum. Duties may include digital imaging, data entry on a Past Perfect collections database, research, archiving, collections care, interactive education development, and exhibition design and development. The positions are at Museum Village in Monroe, NY, which is less than an hour drive from NYC in Orange County; it is easily accessible by bus or train. The living history museum is a rural setting of some 30 structures that house a collection in excess of 25,000 artifacts; its interpretative setting is 1860-1910.
