>Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art is seeking a full-time
>Public Programs Coordinator with experience to plan, direct, manage
>and coordinate a variety of public programs and events. Reporting to
>the Director of Education and Public Programs, s/he will be
>responsible for coordinating all aspects of public programs at
>Cheekwood, including but not limited to outdoor concerts, multi-week
>family festivals, seasonal programming and annual events such as
>Cheekwood’s Spring Art Hop and Dia de los Muertos. The successful
>candidate must have proven experience booking, negotiating and
>producing music-oriented events along with extensive knowledge of
>the principles, practices and techniques of planning and executing
>public events including budgeting, logistic coordination, and staffing.

>Strong customer service skills are essential. Organizational and
>communication skills, both written and oral, are necessary.
>Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
>This is a 40 hour week, Tuesday through Saturday position and
