Education Specialist
California Academy of Sciences

The Education Specialist is responsible for assisting in the development and
delivery of on-site programming offered to school groups, teachers, and
families. This endowment-funded program targets all 4th and 5th grade
classes in San Francisco by providing focused onsite student programming,
free field trip transportation, free teacher workshops and educator
resources, and family outreach. The program’s curriculum highlights themes
present in the museum’s exhibits and ongoing research conducted by Academy
scientists, all the while addressing California State Content Standards.
This is a temporary position. In accordance with need, fluency in Cantonese
is highly desirable.
