The Arkansas Arts Center is seeking a full time Senior Education Specialist to develop short term plans and long term strategies for all young artist programs offered by the Education Department, including but not limited to, classes, workshops, family events, and professional development teacher academies.  Implement these plans and strategies, ensuring that programs are of the highest possible quality, meet and exceed industry standards, are fiscally responsible, and are relevant to the Arts Center’s audience.  Manage the budget for the young artist program, including inventory, ordering, and organizing supplies.  Facilitate communication with AAC staff, faculty, and students; parents; and school teachers and administrators. Qualified applicants should have a BA and classroom experience.  Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.  Advanced knowledge of Common Core State Standards Initiative and Arkansas Curriculum Frameworks preferred.
