Opportunity: Pacific Science Center seeks an Outreach Education Supervisor who supervises Outreach Education teaching staff in order to expand Pacific Science Center’s role as a driving force for science education.  The Outreach Education department staff provide programming to schools, community centers and preschools in the Pacific Northwest by presenting assemblies, setting up hands-on exhibit areas and teaching science lessons during the school day and in out-of-school settings.   The Outreach Education Programs Supervisor is responsible for hiring, training, professional development and ongoing evaluation of these staff, and may occasionally deliver programming alongside Outreach Education teachers.  The Supervisor also works with the Outreach Education Programs Manager to guide curriculum development efforts and other special projects as assigned.
